The speech impaired people account for 7. These segments of society suffer in their day to day life as they are unable to communicate or express effectively. The usual mode of their communication is through hand gestures and symbols which is often misunderstood or ridiculed by the general public as they are not aware of them. This devoid has certainly hampered speech impaired people of their normal life and are isolated with social insecurities. This team at ARRL has come up with the first working prototype and the demonstrator is as shown in the figure we study anatomy. The glove converts the hand gestures to voice output.

It is now in the advance development and refinement stage of its production cycle. The team has started to validate its social feasibility and the preliminary results have proven to be very encouraging. They are confident that it will be a reality in the near future catering to the needs of the speech impaired people and encourage them to have a normal life with more ease.
